The retailer you purchased your crossbow from may have registered your bow for you. However, you can register your crossbow by filling out the form here.
Crossbow serial numbers are located on the rail or inside of the rail depending on the model. Turn the crossbow over and locate the serial number on the inside of the rail, towards the stock, behind the trigger assembly.
It is acceptable to have your Mission crossbow cocked while in hunting situations. However, Mission recommends you discharge the bolt into a discharge target to reduce the stress on the limbs after the hunt – if using the Sub-1 use the de-cock feature. We do not recommend storing or transporting your bow in the cocked position.
All Mission crossbows are supplied with cocking ropes to avoid injury to hands and to ensure the crossbow is cocked properly. We always recommend using the cocking aid when cocking your crossbow.

Yes. You can use any 3 blade fixed head that has a cutting diameter of 1-1/8” or less. We do not recommend using 4 blade broadheads.
If you notice that your string has broken or severely frayed strands, you should immediately replace both your string and cables. String life expectancy depends on the volume of shooting and the care of the string. We recommend waxing your string and cables with Zebra Brand High-Performance String Wax to increase the longevity of your string.
The Mission crossbows are cocked using a cocking rope. The proper technique and safety for cocking your crossbow is also found in your crossbow owners manual.
Steps Include :
We strongly recommend the use of our Mission branded bolts with the “half-moon” style aluminum nocks. This allows the string to be in full contact with the nock during firing. Minimum weight and minimum length requirements vary by crossbow model. See below for choosing the correct Mission branded bolt:
We recommend using rail lube every 15-20 shots! Our Mission Rail lube is designed to help lubricate the rail which will prolong the life of your string.
I've shot crossbows for over ten years, but the new SUB-1 blows them all away.
